CI Enterprise Award Program

Framework Principles

The CI Enterprise Award framework emphasizes four major principles:

  • Measurable Results: Projects must demonstrate data-driven outcomes that can be clearly quantified or tracked, showing lasting impact, rather than one-time gains
  • Mission Alignment: Project objectives and outcomes must support the agency's mission and strategic goals.
  • Sustained Operational Impact: Improvements must deliver measurable positive value and long-term benefit to agency operations and stakeholders.
  • Leadership Commitment: Demonstrated sponsorship, engagement, and support at all levels to ensure short- and long-term success.

Continuous Improvement Enterprise Award Criteria

The CI Enterprise Award recognizes Wisconsin state agency teams that demonstrate excellence in project design, implementation, and measurable outcomes. Award evaluation is based on two equally weighted categories:

  • Team Operation (50%) – Assesses collaboration, leadership, and project execution.
  • Results (50%) – Evaluates measurable outcomes, impact to the agency and public, and contribution to continuous improvement best practices.
