The Yellow Belt Certification Program was instrumental in automating the mainframe testing process, reducing lead time (98%), and streamlining workflow (93.5%). By applying the DMAIC methodology, I was able to define the problem, measure inefficiencies, analyze root causes, improve the process through automation, and control the outcomes to sustain improvements. I highly recommend this certification to anyone looking to enhance their leadership, and problem-solving skills, making a meaningful impact to their organization.

The Yellow Belt Program by Strategic Management and Planning provided a continuous improvement framework and gave me the opportunity to gain a foundational knowledge of continuous improvement principles. Not only was I able to learn and apply continuous improvement tools, tips, and techniques throughout the program, but I was also able to implement a process improvement that made a tangible and measurable impact in my program area. Prior to taking the CI classes and being part of the CoP I was able to solve situations when problems arose but since taking the classes and being part of the CoP, I can tell that I seek out opportunities for bettering situations that may not be apparently problematic. I also ensure that the involvement of staff at all levels is accounted for when resolving situations and coming up with improving a process. I appreciate the CI CoP because of the way it has helped me view all situations
